Half Penny has such a lovely shiny lustre. The wool staple is is long, thick and soft, the colouration is a warm caramel blonde. We have made Half Pennys fleece in previous years such is the joy of Felted Sheepskins. The rug has a strong brown felt backing and would be suited to to the back of a sofa or the floor to add a feeling of warmth and comfort. This fleece was turned into Felted Sheepskin with love at our small farm in Devon.

‘Half Penny is cheeky in character, if we’re with the sheep she’ll come up and nibble at our clothing and boots to see if they are edible. If we have work tools and buckets lying about, she is straight in investigating and sniffing at them.’
