Description
This Felted Sheepskin is a lovely colour – all shades of brown with sun bleached tips. Overall the rug has quite a light appearance even though it is quite dark in places. Mushroom is lovely and soft to touch and the wool has a nice spring to it. The backing is a very soft brown felt and would be perfect on a sofa so you could pull it over you on a chilly evening. This year Mushroom has produced a large felted sheepskin. This fleece was turned into Felted Sheepskin with love at our small farm in Devon.

‘Just wait until you hear Mushrooms story! While Mushroom was in the womb, her mum Biddie got very sick and as a result lost her eyesight. When she was born we noticed very early on she started to guide Biddie around. Biddie listened out to Mushroom’s bleats and footsteps as directions of where to go. 5 years later the pair are still inseparable, Mushroom still carefully guides her mum, she’s an amazing little sheep’
