Description
Starlings fleece is all shades of grey but overall is quite light in appearance, with a striking dark rim. The staple is very soft, long and mostly straight. The rug is weighty and substantial with a good depth to it. The backing is a very strong, grey, firm felt and would be ideal on a floor or on a sofa to cuddle into. We made Starling’s fleece last year but this year its turned out so much bigger! This fleece was turned into Felted Sheepskin with love at our small farm in Devon.

‘Starling is a very friendly trusting individual, as you can see from the photo she has the most unusual face markings. In all our years of farming we’ve not seen anyone else patterned like her. Not only does Starling have a spotted face , she has blacks spots in her ears, on her tongue and even on the roof of her mouth!’
