Description
This Felted Sheepskin is made from the fleece of one of our very own girls. Mary is Masham X Dartmoor Greyface shearling. Because she is a young sheep her fleece has a lambswool like quality to it. The lustre and shine is outstanding and the colour is a beautiful creamy white. The staple is medium long with loose curls and its incredibly soft to touch. The backing is a strong white felt. We are very pleased with this one.

Mary is a good all rounder and would be lovely in a bedroom next to the bed to step onto in the morning, or perhaps on a sofa. The wool is so soft we would recommend a lighter use area as to preserve its integrity.

As with all our Felted Sheepskins it has been handmade with love at our small farm in Devon.

Aftercare
If you really need to wash your Felted sheepskin you can pop it in the washing machine on a gentle wool cycle. Use a small amount of wool detergent. Alternatively you could soak it in a bath of warm water – then let it drip dry.
Stretch the rug out firmly when it is still damp. Let the fleece dry naturally in the sun – this may take a few days.
Each of our rugs are unique and need treating slightly differently – we will send you an individual care card with your rug.

Returns
We are sure you will be delighted with your order however if for any reason you require a refund or exchange please contact us with 30 days of receipt. Rugs should be returned unused, in their original packaging with all labels attached. Returns at buyers expense.
