Description
This fleece is from a breed of sheep called a Herdwick. It has a short length staple with shades of grey and white, it is really quite attractive. However the wool of this fleece is very much on the coarse side, and the quality isn’t really up to our usual standard. It also sheds a bit more than we’d like although it will settle down. So we are selling it as a second and this is reflected in the price. It would however be perfect for a large dog bed (dogs aren’t fussy!) or to put somewhere to look at but not one to snuggle into!

Aftercare
If you really need to wash your Felted sheepskin you can pop it in the washing machine on a gentle wool cycle. Use a small amount of wool detergent. Alternatively you could soak it in a bath of warm water – then let it drip dry.
Stretch the rug out firmly when it is still damp. Let the fleece dry naturally in the sun – this may take a few days.
Each of our rugs are unique and need treating slightly differently – we will send you an individual care card with your rug.

Returns
We are sure you will be delighted with your order however if for any reason you require a refund or exchange please contact us with 30 days of receipt. Rugs should be returned unused, in their original packaging with all labels attached. Returns at buyers expense.
