This gorgeous rug is made from the fleece of a Masham sheep from the Lynds flock in Devon. The wool is very soft with curly tendrils and a deep pile. The colour is a natural clotted cream white. The backing felt is strong white. It’s a lovely traditional looking rug, ideal for the floor or a chair.

If you really need to wash your Felted sheepskin you can pop it in the washing machine on a gentle wool cycle. Use a small amount of wool detergent. Alternatively you could soak it in a bath of warm water – then let it drip dry.
Stretch the rug out firmly when it is still damp. Let the fleece dry naturally in the sun – this may take a few days.
Each of our rugs are unique and need treating slightly differently – we will send you an individual care card with your rug.
